Have you dropped out of school or currently attending an alternative school?
Are you or your family currently receiving food stamps/cash assistance? Do you have a documented disability? ARe either you or your parent an offender? Are you a migrant youth?
If you answered yes to the above questions, then you may qualify!
WORKFORCE plus is excited to partner with Tallahassee Community College, City of Midway, Premier Bank, Florida Masonry Apprentice & Educational Foundation, Tallahassee Builder’s Association and Sperry & Associates on the Gadsden YouthBuild grant. Participants will be provided an opportunity to work toward their GED while receiving constrution related training. Training will be provided both through the classroom as well as on-the-job as all participants will be involved in the construction of a home in Midway, Florida.
